In her role as the Founder of Banyan Tree Skills Academy, Chibwe has established a distinctive institution that reflects the lateral growth and intricate propagation of the banyan tree. The academy is dedicated to nurturing continuous growth in individuals and teams, igniting development and fostering a chain of valuable mentorship in others. With a Ph.D. and MSc in plant breeding and a Bachelor’s in Agriculture, Crop Production, Chibwe brings over two decades of experience in plant breeding to her career. Her leadership is characterized by a steadfast dedication to people-centered principles, alongside a deep passion for coaching and mentoring. Her contributions to global food security breeding initiatives and impactful collaborations underscore her expertise and commitment to the field. Outside of her professional pursuits, Chibwe actively engages with Toastmasters International, assuming leadership roles across various levels to enhance her speaking and leadership skills while delivering substantial value to others.
